The Aoki Group story begins with my grandfather, Yunosuke Aoki, a samurai descendant. He was the first in the family to open a restaurant. His idea was to create a place where people can “make friends while eating great food.” This thought was the inspiration for my dad, Rocky Aoki, the founder of the world-famous Benihana. Not one to argue, every Aoki Group restaurant design and menu reflects the same philosophy.
Today, the Aoki Group, has four unique restaurant concepts; Doraku, AOKI, Qing Mu and Bluetree. Each has a menu with the items our guests love along with surprises for those with more adventurous palates.
